Ke$Ha's Robotic 2010 AMA Performance

Bringing her unique nature to center stage, Ke$ha performed at the 2010 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (November 21).

Energizing the Nokia Theatre LA Live venue, the "TiK ToK" hitmaker treated the crowd to a rendition of her hit song "We R Who We R" while at one point donning a a glowing robot helmet.

In addition to being the show's opener, Ke$ha was nominated for Pop/Rock Favorite Female Artist, Artist of the Year and T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist - though she failed to win any trophies.

Also releasing a statement, the 23-year-old told, "This year has been carnivorous and life-changing. I have my rowdy, gorgeous fans to thank for taking me on the ride of a lifetime. My only goal with this record is to keep them dancing," she said of the new album. "The songs on i>Cannibal< were made to inspire people to ignore any hate or judgment and be themselves unapologetically. It's the perfect companion to Animal and I hope you guys like it. And if you don't like it -- bite me."
