Rihanna’s new fragrance advert video

Rihanna is following in the high-heeled footsteps of many singers and has become the latest celebrity to jump on the fragrance bandwagon.

She is releasing Reb’l Fleur later this month – a fragrance that is said to be ‘daring, sexy and truly memorable’.

Rumours have it that eau de toilette is ‘as much in tune with Barbados-born Rihanna’s roots as it is with the glamour of her present life in New York City.’

The advert however sees the Disturbia star running round a mirrored maze in an enchanted garden in a tiny strapless peach cocktail dress with a train and feather bustle, together with a pillbox hat and veil.

She appears writhing in a flower made of matching peach marabou feathers, before looking perturbed yet sexy as she darts about to the swelling strains of dramatic piano music trying to find her way round.

With a tagline of ‘Good feels so bad, bad feels so good,’ the ad sees Rihanna transform into her ‘bad’ version too, which basically means she wears the same outfit in black.

A few hunky men try to surprise her at one point too by putting their hands over her eyes, but Rihanna seems too preoccupied with her perfume to notice them.

Reb’l Fleur has not had a bad reception so far from smell fans, with plenty of praise for its unusual bottle which is crafted in the shape of a high heel.

One website Fragrantica appeared impressed. It wrote: ‘The fragrance is an intense and daring fruity chypre, composed of sophisticated floral notes: tuberose, violet and hibiscus, with a splash of coconut water, over the light and smooth base.

‘The combination of the final notes evokes the impression of warm skin.’
It continues: ‘The elegant bottle, which glows from within, is beautifully designed in the shape of a high heel. The bottle is adorned with silken ribbons and an golden ring on the stopper.’
