Was a pretty good game in the 2nd half; if UT had played offense like that the whole game, it could have been a different story. Our defense gave up big yardage to Auburn's non-conventional offense, but for the most part kept from giving up the big play (until late in the game when they gave up the big kickoff return and drive to ice it with the last field goal). But the offense was the story.
If nothing else in this game, at least Crompton actually looked like a quarterback in the 2nd half. Yes he still through behind receivers on crossing routes and sometimes looked lost; but he didn't throw to the other guys and managed the game well, putting Tennessee in position to try to win.
That may be the most important thing that came out of last night on down the road.
